An Ancient Queen gave them to me in a dream

As I have previously stated my greatest inspiration is the antique and vintage jewelry. I have a three parallel collections which will never be finished but rather develop over time...the first one is " The Spirit of the Ancient Times" where I promote the jewelry inspired mostly by the jewelry found on this part of the world, inspired from ancient Macedonian, Greek and Turkish jewelry ( https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.331385766873656.90528.209872835691617&type=3).

The second jewelry line is jewelry made out of fossils, rough stones, shells and various materials found in the nature, beaches and so on...I called it " Gifts From the Earth" (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.439018972777001.109095.209872835691617&type=3)

Jewelry made from scrap

What do you do with the scrap from making your jewelry ? I was saving it until I realized one day that I never use it and it is taking me storage place that I could use wiser and just when I was about to get rid of it (naturally:)) I got the idea of this easy to make pieces of jewelry!

The title for these pieces is "Phases" ( earrings and brooch) and the material used is copper, brass and filigree fine silver wire scrap.The beads are natural moonstone. Patina and shellack for protection and vintage look ;)...so these days I'm cleaning the studio heh heh....

New scarf/ hair accessories...

The idea was to make a piece of jewelry that could be used both winter and summer time.Because I am so fond of scarfs and always trying to find and interesting way to wear them I thought that It would be interesting to make some clips and rings ...So here are few of them that I hope will inspire you to make pieces that will be multifunctional as well as beautiful

 

So these can be used for larger scarfs both cotton and crochet, and when the season is over they can be used as hair accessories ;)...

The rings can be used for silk scarfs and as well as pendants on a chain or lace like the ones on the photo.Experiments are going on the next week...new photos with ideas coming soon...
